How to make Amazon product photos with AI
- Step 1
Upload one photo
Shoot the product on a plain surface in even light, fully in frame. A phone photo is enough.
- Step 2
Add your details
Type the dimensions for the size chart and up to four features for the infographic. Pick the AI scenes you want.
- Step 3
Download the set
Check the compliance ticks on the main image, then download each image or the whole set in every marketplace size.
Seven listing images from one upload
Amazon gives you room for several images per listing. Each slot below does a different job for the shopper.
1. Main image on pure white
Made by codeYour product is cut out and placed on pure white (RGB 255, 255, 255) at 2000 × 2000 px, filling about 85% of the frame, with a soft contact shadow. The product pixels are your photo, not an AI redraw.
2. Lifestyle scene
AI scenePick a kitchen, bathroom, desk, living room, outdoor or gym setting, or describe your own. Shoppers see the product where they would use it.
3. In hand / in use
AI sceneThe product held in a hand, so buyers understand its real size at a glance.
4. Size chart
Made by codeDimension lines with the width and height you type, in cm, mm or inches. The numbers are drawn as real text, so they are always readable and correct.
5. Feature infographic
Made by codeYour product beside up to four feature callouts in your accent colour. The words are exactly what you typed: no misspelt AI lettering.
6. Colour variant
AI sceneThe same product in another colour you name, on white, for listings with colour options.
7. Flat lay
AI sceneA top-down styled shot with a few simple props, the classic secondary image for social posts and A+ content.
Amazon main image requirements
The first image in a listing is held to the strictest rules. These are the points the tool builds to and checks for you:
- Background
- Pure white, RGB 255, 255, 255, for the main image. Off-white or light grey is a common reason main images get flagged.
- Fill
- The product should fill about 85% of the image. Too small looks unprofessional in search results.
- Size
- At least 1000 px on the longest side for zoom; 1600 px or more is recommended. We export 2000 × 2000 px.
- What is shown
- Only the product for sale: no added text, logos, badges, borders or watermarks on the main image. The branding printed on the product itself is fine.
- Format
- JPEG in RGB colour. Our main image is a high-quality RGB JPEG.
Marketplace rules change; check your category's current style guide in Seller Central before you publish.
Why the text on your images is drawn by code, not AI
AI image models are good at scenes and light, and bad at letters: product names come out misspelt, numbers change, and labels turn into shapes that look like writing. On a listing that sells on trust, one garbled word costs clicks.
So the parts that carry facts are made the reliable way. The main image places your real product pixels on white. The size chart and the infographic use real fonts and the exact words you type. AI is used only where it helps: the lifestyle, in-hand, colour and flat-lay scenes.
Sizes for Shopify, Etsy and Instagram
Every set also comes padded on white to the shapes other channels expect, so the product is never cropped:
- Amazon main: 2000 × 2000 px, square
- Shopify: 2048 × 2048 px, square
- Etsy: 2700 × 2025 px, 4:3 landscape
- Instagram: 1080 × 1350 px, 4:5 portrait
- Cutout: Transparent PNG for your own designs
Frequently asked questions
What does the AI product photo generator make?
From one photo it makes up to seven listing images: a pure-white main image, a size chart, a feature infographic, a lifestyle scene, an in-hand shot, a colour variant and a flat lay. You also get Shopify (2048 × 2048), Etsy (2700 × 2025) and Instagram (1080 × 1350) versions and a transparent PNG cutout.
Will the main image pass Amazon's image rules?
The main image is built to Amazon's published main-image rules and then checked automatically: the edges must be pure white (255), the product must fill at least 85% of the frame, the image must be at least 1600 px and in RGB, and no text is added. You see each check with a green tick or a warning before you download.
Does Amazon allow AI-generated product images?
Amazon asks that images accurately show the product being sold. That is why the main image here is your real photo, cut out and placed on white by code, not redrawn by AI. Use the AI scenes for the secondary image slots, and check each one shows your product faithfully before you upload it.
Will it keep my logo, label and text?
On the main image, size chart, infographic and resizes, yes: those use your original product pixels and nothing is regenerated. The AI scenes are instructed to keep your label, logo and printed text unchanged, but like any AI edit they can drift on fine print, so look closely before using one.
How many credits does a listing set cost?
The main image, size chart, infographic, resizes and cutout cost 4 credits together. Each AI scene costs 2.5 credits. A full set with all four scenes is 14 credits, and you can untick scenes you do not need.
What happens to my credits if something fails?
If the set cannot be made (for example no product is found in the photo), the 4 credits are returned automatically. If an individual AI scene fails, the credits for that scene are returned too.
Is there a watermark? Can I use the images commercially?
No watermark is added, and you can use the images on Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, your own store, ads and social media.
What photo should I upload?
One product, fully in frame, on a plain background, in even light. A phone photo works. Avoid hands, other objects touching the product and heavy shadows, because the cutout keeps only the main object.
How is this different from a background remover?
A background remover gives you a cutout. This tool turns that cutout into finished listing images: a correctly sized and centred white main image with a compliance check, a size chart, an infographic, AI scenes and every marketplace size.
Why do the size chart and infographic not look AI-made?
Because they are not. They are drawn by code with real fonts, so every number and word is exactly what you typed. AI image models often misspell or garble text on product images.
Do I need an account?
Yes, you need to be logged in so your set and its credits are saved to your account. The images also appear in My Generations.
Which marketplaces is it for?
The main image follows Amazon's rules, which are the strictest of the large marketplaces, so it also works for Walmart, eBay and most stores. The resizes cover Shopify, Etsy and Instagram.
