Green wraps range from deep forest and military olive to soft sage and bright lime. In matte they look flat and modern; in satin or gloss the same green looks richer. Upload a photo of your car and compare greens and finishes before you book.
Darker greens stay subtle. Lighter and brighter greens stand out.
Deep greens that can look close to black in shade and clearly green in sun.
Earthy greens. In matte they give a utility look that suits trucks and off-road builds.
A soft grey-green. A calm colour that suits small cars and crossovers.
Bright greens that get noticed. Matte metallic versions add flake that shows in the light.
Matte is flat with no reflections. Satin has a soft sheen. Gloss looks like paint. The same green can look lighter or darker in each, so compare all three on your car with the Compare Green Finishes option.
Examples from maker ranges: Avery Dennison SW900 Matte Olive Green, Matte Khaki Green, Smooth Sage, Matte Metallic Green Apple and Gloss Dark Green; 3M 2080 Matte Military Green M26, Matte Pine Green Metallic M206, Gloss Kelly Green G46 and Satin Komodo Green S56; ORAFOL Oracal 970RA Matte Nato Olive 285M.
Avery's dark green is sold in gloss, so for a matte dark green ask your installer which film comes closest. Ranges change and differ by region.
Matte film needs its own care.
Wax and polish can leave shiny patches on matte film. Avery notes matte finishes can shift in colour and gloss with cleaners, wax and polish.
Wash by hand with a soft mitt and a matte-safe soap. Brush car washes can scratch the film.
Bird droppings, tree sap and bugs can mark matte film, so clean them off soon.
Avery Dennison rates SW900 solid colour films up to 10 years on vertical surfaces and 2 on the hood and roof, and metallics up to 5 and 2 (data sheet revision dated 03/10/26). Ask which class your film is in.
A picture helps you choose a direction. These checks help you choose the actual film.
Wrap film looks different in sun, shade and under shop lights, and a small swatch looks different from a whole car. Ask the installer to hold a sample on your paint outside.
A pink or a grey from one brand is not the same colour as one with a similar name from another. Always give the installer the brand, the film line and the colour name together.
Cast films such as 3M 2080 and Avery Dennison SW900 are made to stretch over curves. Ask which line the shop uses and how long they expect it to last on your car.
Wrap goes over sound factory paint. Chips, clear coat peeling and old repaints can show through or lift when the film comes off.
Some states and countries ask you to report a colour change to the vehicle registry, and some limit mirror-like reflective finishes. Ask your installer or the local vehicle agency.
Save your before and after picture and take it to two or three local wrap shops. Tell each one the film brand, line and colour you want, for example "3M 2080 Satin Black" or "Avery Dennison SW900 Gloss Dark Green".
Ask each shop to show you a sample of the green on your car, whether door jambs are included, and what the warranty covers. A picture of your own car makes it easy for them to see what you mean.
The tool draws an approximation of each colour and finish from a description. It is not the film maker's swatch, and screens show colour differently.
It is a preview, not a quote. It does not measure the car, check the paint or give prices.
Very shiny finishes such as chrome are hard to show: the reflections in the picture are invented and will look different on your street.

Greens can look different in sun and shade. Look at a sample outside at different times of day.
